A crowler is a 32-ounce aluminum can created as a modern alternative to the traditional glass growler. First introduced around 2013 through a collaboration between Oskar Blues Brewery in Colorado and Ball Corporation, crowlers were designed to offer a portable, airtight, and lightproof way to take fresh draft beer home. Unlike growlers, which are reusable jugs (usually 64 ounces) that need to be brought back and refilled, crowlers are sealed on-site with a special machine and meant for single use. This makes crowlers more convenient for travel and better at preserving beer freshness, while growlers are larger, refillable, and ideal for sharing right away.

While our name has changed, our dedication to that mission remains the same. Great neighborhood bar and restaurant in Katy. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Quite the selection of both local and national craft beer. Also have ciders and wine. We stopped by for a family friendly bingo night where kids ate free with an adult meal. We will definitely be back!
